When worn with the silver side out, 39-47 percent more of the sun's rays are reflected than worn with the black side out. Worn black side out, the bend of the quilted baffles flex to hug your body, creating an uninterrupted barrier that increases the body's temperature. When worn with the silver side out, baffles flex outward, opening up the baffles to create gaps where heat can escape.
